Nicklaine Paul is a Registered Nurse specializing in the care of individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). Her personal experience living with this chronic illness along with her clinical expertise, she is in a unique position to serve as a subject-matter expert. Ms. Paul assisted with successfully establishing the Sickle Cell Infusion Center for Adults at Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) in 2008. During her tenor with Johns Hopkins, she was the Lead Clinical Nurse/Nurse Manager for close to 10 years. To this day, Ms. Paul actively participates in JHH sickle cell initiatives and research as a nurse consultant.

In addition, her nursing experience includes working as a triage nurse for General Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins and working as Certified Case Manager for two top companies including CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Further, she assists law firms as an Expert Nurse Witness on medical malpractice cases involving individuals with sickle cell disease and is now pursuing her Legal Nurse Consulting certification. More recently, Ms. Paul has launched her nurse consulting company, Sickle Care Solutions, LLC.
