" I attended the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) centers Workshop in February of 2021. It was during this four day virtual workshop that I had the pleasure of meeting Nicklaine Paul RN, BSN, CCM. She served as one of the content experts and presenters of the workshop...Her experiences and suggestions personally as a person living with Sickle Cell Disease and professionally were insightful and very helpful in the implementation of a number of initiatives at my own institution. Nicky is knowledgeable, present and accessible and she makes time for questions and brainstorming sessions. It’s one thing to get help as you request it, but another altogether when the assistance and advice you receive goes above and beyond your request. Nicky continues to reach out regularly and I continue to tap into her expertise as a content expert inviting her to take part in SCD workgroups at my institution. Nicklaine Paul is professional thorough and I highly recommend her as a Sickle Cell Disease consultant.”

"Ms. Nicklaine has been, and continues to be, an amazing resource and mentor for me as I navigate my nursing career. I’ve been a nurse for 2 years now and transitioning from being a new grad on orientation to an independent nurse can have its struggles. Not only was Ms. Nicklaine a listening ear to struggles and concerns, but she helped me prioritize my mental health and strategize how to find a specialty/area that fit me best. I’m happy to say that with her help I’ve secured a new job that I feel fits me and my current needs going into my 3rd year as a nurse! She continuously checked in on me and often sent me words of encouragement! I’m so grateful for Ms. Nicklaine’s open-mindedness, willingness to help, and listening ears because thanks to her I’ve grown into the nurse that I am now and I couldn’t have done it without her!"
